This week you are to write a paragraph detailing the following...

Pretend you are making a Journey to the Center of the Earth.  Write a paragraph describing the different layers (there are five you should mention) you pass as you reach the center of Earth.  Make sure you use the scientific terms for each layer.  Refer to Study Island for information.

Hint...use the Physical Properties

Remember to include what the composition of each layer is (whats its made up of).

Should be at least 6 sentences long

During my trip to the the center of the Earth i had to go thru the lithosphere it is very cool the temperature is very low . The second layer is the asthenosphere it consist of mantel rock . The mesosphere is the third layer it is a solid layer that account for the mantle below the asthensphere. Phew its getting hot in here i must be getting close to the outer core which is liquid outer portion of the earths crust. At last we made it to the core of the earth witch is the solid inner portion of the earth core.

When im taking my journey to the cente rof the Earth this is all the stages it would take for me to get there. The first layer of the Earth is the lithosphere which is cold and brittle. The next layer is the asthenosphere it is a less rigid layer directly underneath the lithosphere. Then comes the mesosphere it is a solid layer that accounts for the rest of the mantle. Next is the first stage of the core the Outer Core. Then the last stage is the Inner Core which is solid.

Today is our first day of travel to the center of the Earth. We have already passed the lithosphere, it is the brittle first layer of the Earth's mantle. The next layer is the asthenosphere, it consists of mostly rock and is right under the lithosphere. The next layer we passed was the mesosphere is a solid layer that is stronger and denser than the asthenosphere. On our fourth day we passed the outer core, it started to get really hot, actually it started getting really hot when we passed the asthenosphere. On our last day we finally passed it to the inner core, but we had to leave fast because of the temperature.

We started our journey to the center of the earth, we packed our things and got started. The first layer we hit was the Lithosphere, it was a cold and very brittle. we put on heavy coats and continued our journey. The second layer we hit was the Asthenosphere, it was less rigid. the third layer we hit was the Mesosphere, it was a more solid mantle from the last one. I could tell we were getting closer to the center of the earth, the heat was increasing rapidly. Finally we hit the outer core, it was more of a liquid. Finally we made it to the inner core, it was solid, very hot. it was a treacherous, but it was worth it.

On our journey to the center of the Earth we will go through the Crust. The Crust is the outermost, thinnest, least dense layer. Continental crust is mostly made of the rock granite and is thicker and less dense then oceanic crust. Next we will go through the Mantle. The Mantle is the hot middle thickest layer and accounts for most of the Earth's bulk. It is denser then the Crust but not as dense as the Core. Next is the core. The Core lies at Earth's center. The Core is made mostly made of iron and nickel, and it is the densest layer. The Lithosphere is the cold, brittle layer at Earth's surface. It is a solid layer and contains all the Crust and a very thin part of the Mantle's top. The Asthenosphere is a less rigid layer directly underneath the lithosphere. The mesosphere is a layer that accounts for the rest of the mantle below the asthenosphere .

Wow, I can't believe that the lithosphere is this cold and brittle. whoa I can't believe I fell all the way to the asthenosphere this place is a less rigid layer, and directly underneath the lithosphere. Cool I found a cave that lead me to the mesosphere, this is a solid layer, that accounts for the rest of the mantle below the asthenosphere. Wow there is a tunnel that lead me to this under ground cave there are all kinds of plants down here and a bird too.

Today I am traveling to the center of the Earth. first i i mad it to lithosphere is the cold brittle layer at earths surface.
Then i went to the asthenosphere is a less rigid directly underneath the lithosphere.
then i went to the mesosphere is a soild layer tht account for the rest of the mantle below the asthenosphere.
then i went to the outer core is the liquid outer portion of the earths core. then i went to the inner core is the solid inner portion of the earths core

Today I will be traveling to the center of the earth.First I will be going to the lithosphere. It is very cold down here so I put on my heavy coat. When I had got to the asthenosphere I saw that it was complete made out of mantle rock and it causes the lithosphere plates to move around on top of each other. The mesosphere is were I will be traveling to. The mesosphere is stronger and denser than the asthenosphere.Next I will be traveling to the outer core. The outer core is made out of liquid.Lastly I will be traveling to the inner core. The inner core is made out of solid rock. Now I will be traveling back to the surface of the earth and going back home to shar the exciting news to my parents.

I am excited to go on my journey to the center of the earth First i go to the lithospere, It is a cold britle layer. its layer that contains all crust and a very thin part of the mantles top. The lithosphere is stiff and rigid. The layer is broken into pieces called plates. Next i move to the athenoshere,it is a less rigid layer under the lithosphere. it consists entierly of mantle rock.although it is solid it flows slowly. Next i will go to the mesophere. it is stronger and denser than the athensphere. Next is the outer core. the outer core is liquid. it is the outer portion of the earths core. the inner core is solid. it is the inner portion of the earths core.

Today i travled to the journey of the earth the first physical layer i saw was the lithosphere its very cold layer on earths surface and it contains all of the crust and very this layer of mantles top.The next layer of the earths surface i went to was the asthenosphere. It is a less rigid layer directly underneath the lithosphere and it consists entirely of mantle rock. The next layer i went to on the earths surface was the mesosphere. The mesosphere is a solid layer that accounts for the rest of the mantle the asthenosphere. The mesosphere is stronger and denser then the asthenosphere. The next layer i went to in the earths surface was the outer core.It is the liquid outer portion of the earths core and it produces the earths magnet field. And the last layer i went to in the earths surface was the inner core,It is the solid inner portion of the earth's core.

I am on a journey to the center of the earth. I'm now going through the crust , the crust seems to be made of iron and some nickel, and also seems to be the thinnest layer of the earth.
Now it's starting to get warmer and seems to be more dense then before so this must be the mantle. I'm now in the outer core i can tell because of the slow moving liquid. and i now ran into solid layer it must be the inner core .

Today I went on a journey the the center of the Earth. First I went through the lithosphere, a very cold a brittle layer of the Earth that contains all life. Next I got to the asthenosphere, it is mostly made of mantle rock. This layer is able to flow very slowly. Then I went through the mesosphere, it is stronger and denser than the asthenosphere. After that I got to the outer core. The outer core is the liquid outer part of the Earth's core, this layer produces the Earth's magnetic field. Finally I got to the center of the Earth, or the inner core, which is the inner part of the core and the hottest layer of the Earth. That is what happened on my journey to the center of the Earth.

I remember the time I went to the center of the earth. I first hit the lithosphere, which was very cold and brittle. Then I went to the asthenosphere, which was directly under the lithosphere.Next was the mesosphere that is stronger than the other layers. Then I saw the outer core, which is super hot in heat. Finally I was at the inner core, which held the Earth together. So that's what happened when I went to the center of the Earth!

Today i'am strating a journey to the center of the earth and writing a jornal about this amazing trip. So first I dig through the lithosphere first it is cold and brittle were all living things Live. Next i go to the asthenosphere it is a less Rigid Layer underneath the lithosphere. After I pass that It gets hot After all iam 400 km under the earths crust!!! Anyways I'am Past the 2nd layer on to the next xD which is the mesosphere that Is the solid layer that accounts for the rest of the manlte. After That The outer core which is the luquid Outer layer of the earths core. And Finally the inner core which by the way is the hottest it can get up to 9800.6 ºF up in HERE And is the solid inner porpotion of the earth core. (:
