Diversity has played an important part in the history of the United States. Even though there are many different types of people living in this country, not all of them have always been treated equally. 

This could be seen clearly in the following events in US history...
  • Indian Removal Act
  • Nineteenth Amendment
  • Brown v. Board of Education
  • Montgomery Bus Boycott
  • Jim Crow Laws

Indian Removal Act

law passed by the United States Congress in 1830, and signed into law by President Andrew Jackson.Native Americans in the southeastern United States were encouraged to trade their lands for land in the west,freeing up land in the southeast for settlement and more land.

The country the act took lace in was the U.S.A.

The state it took place in was mississippi

the cultures were indians and and indian kids and white people.
The white people wanted to get the land that the indians already had so the indians made trades with the white people.

The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a political and social protest campaign that started in 1955 In Montgomery Alabama. USA intended to oppose the city's policy of racial segregation on it's public transit system.

Nineteenth Amendment: Gave females the right 2 vote.It took place on August 18, 1920. The women and men.They disagree on that women should not be aloud to vote because they thought they were dumb and didn't know what to do they had to vote. now they are aloud to vote.

Indian Removal Act.
U.S settlers believed that Native Americans were taking all the land. This meant that if the native American's gave up they're land they would be moved to new land along the Mississippi River. This happened in May 28 1830. the disagreement was about Native American's taking over the land that was the settler's.

the Montgomery Bus Boycott was when Rosa parks sat in a white person seat and she refused to move out the seat so she started a boycott for blacks to sit anywhere they wanted on buses. it happened in DEC 1955 she lived in Montgomery, Alabama.It effected all blacks. they disagreed on where people can sit on the bus.

1.The schools was separated by black and white kids that went to the school.A third grade girl named Linda Brown had to walk a ways to school when their was a white school 7 blocks away.Here dad Oliver Brown did not like this so he took it up with court.Now the Supreme court integrated segregation.

I chose the 19th amendment.It is about guaranteeing that all American women have the right to vote.it took decades to approve of this amendment.it began in the mid-19th century and many women and supporters marched and lectured and wrote about it.
this took place in the Mid-19th century all over the USA.
the cultural groups that were involved are Americans,African-Americans,and all the women.
this group of women disagreed on not letting all females be able to vote.

The Indian Removal act removed Native Americans from the east of the US, they moved them past the Mississippi. It took place in the east of the Mississippi, it was on May 28, 1830. The main groups were Native Americans and Whites. The groups disagreed on who got the land east of the Mississippi.

The 19th amendment alows people to vote, no matter their gender. This act was the result of the womans suffarge movement.
It was made so in the constitution on August 18th, 1920 all over America. On a tuesday, ya know.
It involved American Adult women. They disagreed with the men on who had the right to vote.

I am writing about the Indian removal act.This is when the Indians got moved from the east to the west. This took place in may of 1830,and was took place in Georgia. The people involved in this was the Cherokee Indians. The groups disagreed on who owned the land and so they made the Indians move away.

nineteenth amendment
the nineteenth amendment allowed women to vote.Susie b. anthony drafted the amendment and first introduced it in 1878.
this took place on August 18 1920.and was held across the whole country.
this was between the adult women and the constitution
they didnt want the women to have a right to vote so the made the 19th amendment so that they could vote.

The Jim Crow laws was some state and local laws in the united states.They mandated racial segregation in all public facilities. it happen between 1876 and 1965. It was mainly in southern states.It was African Americans and White Adult Americans.They disagreed on everybody being equals.

The topic that i picked was the Nineteenth Amendment.The Nineteenth Amendment was about the United States Constitution prohibited any United States citizen the right to vote based on their gender.This Amendment was ratified on August 18,1920. The Constitution allows states to determine the qualifications for voting, and until the 1910s most states disenfranchised women. This Amendment was the end result of the Women Suffrage Movement which batted in both states an national levels to achieve the votes. Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Stanton drafted the amendment and first introduced it in 1878.This Amendment took place in the United States in the 1919 an 1920.The white an black women involved.The men disagreed if women should have the right to vote just like they had the right to vote.

The Nineteenth Amendment took place in 1920 across the whole U.S country. The cultural groups involved were adults based on there gender. The men disagreed that the woman should have the right to vote just like men did.

My report will be about the Nineteenth Amendment. The Nineteenth Amendment made it legal for women to vote. It was Passed by Congress June 4, 1919 In the U.S. The female race was the most involved In this amendment. I think the men played a big part in it for they were the ones who could pass it. There were two groups involved. First there were the people who agreed with letting women vote. The there were the people that disagreed witch letting women vote.

The nineteenth Amendment was when women could not vote during the mid-19th century. and during the mid-19th century people would judge by saying that women can't vote.And then woman marched and did,lobbied, and practiced civil disobedience to achieve what many Americans considered a radical change of the Constitution.Then women and a few early supporters lived to see final victory in 1920.

Brown vs. Board of Education was a landmark in the U.S.A Supreme courts . It stated that state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students was unconstitutional . This event took place in the U.S Supreme court on May 17 , 1954 . Oliver L. Brown , an African American , and the supreme court , White Americans , were involved . These groups disagreed on the fact of white and black students having to go to different schools . Oliver Brown stated that it was not right that the students went to different schools , and that it was not equal . The Supreme court had thought that it was how things should be though . This is the Brown vs Supreme Court case .

The Montgomery Bus Boycott was an effort by Montgomery, Alabama, blacks to end segregation on city buses by boycotting the vehicles.
Took place from December 5, 1955 to December 20, 1956 in Alabama. Discourteous and violent treatment of African Americans by white city bus drivers.

The Montgomery bus boycott was an incident were African Americans would protest the law of where they could sit on the bus. It took place from December1,1955, to December20,1956 in Alabama in or around any bus.The cultural group only consisted of only black and white people but each had a different reason why they were involved, Whites believed that black should have almost no rights and blacks believed that they should have equal rights

The Indian removal act was strongly supported in the south, where states were eager to gain access to lands inhabited by the Five Civilized Tribes. The Indian removal was also very controversial. It took place in the U.S. The cultural groups were the Native American and the U.S. The groups disagree on the Native Americans live in the U.S.

Montgomery Bus Boycott

The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a political and social protest campaign that started in 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, USA, intended to oppose the city's policy of racial segregation on its public transit system. The boycott started when a woman named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white man and she was thrown in jail. The boycott started Dec. 1, 1955 and ended Dec. 20, 1956. This boycott caused so much financial damage for the Montgomery transit system that the buses were shut down. The discrimination was between white Americans and African Americans. The whites believed that they should sit in the front of the buss and the blacks should give up their seat to the white person and sit in the back of the buss. The blacks believed that they should have rights and be able to sit anywhere and not have to give up there seat.

Montgomery bus boycott is about Rosa parks not giving up her seat to a white man on the bus. This happened on a bus at a bus stop in Montgomery,Alabama in the united States in 1955 and ended in 1956.
The two groups that were involved were white Americans an African American adults.

The Montgomery Boycott is when Rosa Park refuse to give up her seat. She became to be known as the civil rights movement.Now when that was going on all African Americans refuse to go on the puplic buses.This took place in Dec.1st,1955 Dec. 20th 1956. The culture groups were African Americans and Americans.Whites wants African Americans to sit in the back and they sit in the front.
