State consitution was presented between 1776-1781. James Madison wrote the Virginia Constitution. These are a few ideas the writers of the U.S. Constitution took from state constitutions. One is the Virginia Constitution and Thomas Jefferson's Statute of Religious Freedom. The second reason is that/ Abolition of slavery—many northern states included provisions for the freedom of slaves when they wrote their state constitutions. In 1780, Massachusetts became the first state to abolish slavery in its constitution. AND the third reason is that Governor—each state had a governor who was the head of the state government and the executive branch.

I learned by 1774 each colony had established a Provincial Congress, or an equivalent governmental institution, to form individual self-governing states, but still within the empire, also through representatives sent in 1775 to the Second Continental Congress, the new states joined together.

Most states had constitions during the time when the U.S. Constition was made so the writers took ideas from the other Constitions. One of the ideas that the ideas for the government came from is the Freedom of Religion. The another idea is that people are able to elect for government officals. A third idea is that there needs to be a governor. Finally the fourth one is that there needs to be two house legslatives.

The ideas originally came from England.
Most states had constitutions by the time the U.S. Constitution was written. Writers of the Constitution took many ideas from the other written Constitutions. Their main ideas were freedom of speech, to elect government officials, two-house legislatures, each state to have there own governor. The right to freedom of religion is taken from the Virginia Constitution and Thomas Jefferson's Statute of Religious Freedom. Most states had governors and legislative members who were elected by the people. Several states had a two-house legislature. Each state had a governor who was the head of the state government and the executive branch

The U.S. Constitution started in 1763. After the American Revolution they decided to make some laws. For example a freedom of religion, and how a government going to work out. This will mean that the U.S. will be a democratic country. We'll be free from all the taxes and from Britain. All of them are from politicians and one is from Thomas Jefferson.
